The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Training is 125 hours in total with a distribution of 95 hours of classroom training and 30 hours of internship.
​
Students will gain the classroom/ theory and clinical experience in a Nursing Home or a Long Term Care Facility.
​
Upon successful completion of the students receive a certificate of completion and are eligible for the clinical competency examination given at the premises.
​
Campus is Located in Queens, New York.
CURRICULUM
Basic Human Anatomy & Physiology
Basic study of anatomy, the internal and external structures of the body and their physical relationships, whereas physiology refers to the study of the functions of those structures. This is to help students understand how the human body is organized and functions.
Patient Safety & Infection Control
Safe patient care involves developing and implementing practices that prevent and reduce risks, errors, and adverse effects. Protecting private information, effective communication, and timely care. Stopping the spread of infection and prevention is essential for high quality healthcare delivery.
Personal Care, Skin Care & Aging Process
A wide range of practices that support skin integrity and relieve skin conditions. It is a critical discussion and practice for nurse aides. Daily skin routines are fundamental aspects of clinical nursing practice.
Introduction to Healthcare & Assistant Nursing
Nursing assistants work under the supervision of a licensed practical nurse and aids nurses by providing basic patient care. Nursing assistants will clean, bathe, and dress patients along with many other duties.

Emergency Care & Measuring Vital Signs
Vital signs such as body temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure and the most important aspects of nursing. Patient severity and treatment priorities establish the emergency care given to a patient.

Medical Terminology
A language best used to describe anatomical structures, processes, conditions and medical treatments. Students are expected to have a basic comprehension of medical terms and be able to communicate accurately in their line of work.
